Professor Kate Brain is a health psychologist at Cardiff University who leads the CABS study. Kate has overall responsibility for the study.

Dr Rebecca Cannings-John is a Senior Research Fellow in Statistics at the Centre for Trials Research in Cardiff University. Becky leads the statistical analysis of the CABS study data.

Dr Ardiana Gjini provides expert advice on cancer, cancer screening and Covid-19 public health issues.

Mr Mark Goddard is a Research Assistant in the Centre for Trials Research at Cardiff University. Mark is the data manager for CABS.

Ms Julie Hepburn is the Lead Lay Research Partner for the Wales Cancer Research Centre, and a Member of the Public Involvement Community and PRIME SUPER Group. Julie provides a lay perspective on the study.

Dr Jacqueline Hughes is a Research Associate in the Centre for Trials Research at Cardiff University. Jacqui is a qualitative researcher carrying out the CABS interviews.

Dr Grace McCutchan is a post-doctoral Research Associate in the Division of Population Medicine at Cardiff University School of Medicine. Grace is responsible for the symptom interpretation aspects of the study.

Professor Graham Moore is a social scientist and Co-Director of DECIPHER. Graham provides expert advice on measuring and analysing health behaviours.

Ms Yvonne Moriarty is a Research Fellow in the Centre for Trials Research at Cardiff University. Yvonne is the study manager for CABS.

Mr Martin Nemec is a Research Assistant at Kings College London. Martin provides overall support for data collection and analysis.

Ms Kirstie Osborne is Senior Health Evaluation & Research Manager at Cancer Research UK. Kirstie provides expert advice on measuring attitudes and behaviours relating to health, symptoms and screening.

Dr Harriet Quinn-Scoggins is a Research Associate in the Division of Population Medicine at Cardiff University. Harriet is responsible for the qualitative aspects of the study.

Professor Mike Robling is Director of Population Health Trials in the Centre for Trials Research, Cardiff University. Mike provides expert advice on population health aspects of the research.

Dr Julia Townson is a SeniorResearch Fellow in the Centre for Trials Research at Cardiff University. Julia provides senior oversight and overall responsibility for the project within the Centre for Trials Research.

 

Jonathan Vasilevic is a research administrator in the Centre for Trials Research at Cardiff University and provides administrative support.

Dr Jo Waller is a Reader in Cancer Behavioural Science at King’s College London. Jo provides expert advice on measuring and analysing screening attitudes and behaviours.

Dr Katriina Whitaker is Reader in Cancer Care at the University of Surrey. Katriina provides expert advice on measuring and analysing symptom attitudes and behaviours.

Dr Victoria Whitelock is a Behavioural Science Research Manager at Cancer Research UK. Vicky provides expert advice on measuring attitudes and behaviours relating to health, symptoms and screening, liaises with one of our online panel providers and acts as the link with Cancer Research UK.

Dr Detelina Grozeva is a Research Assistant in Statistics at the Centre for Trials Research in Cardiff University. Detelina is involved in the statistical analysis for CABS.
